Diego Angulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Arruda having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Ruy came free, but Chiquinho Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Villagrán. Sabaneta FC's Lautaro Estebanez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Sabaneta FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Angulo to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomé Quirino in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Estebanez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Bocos. After 58 minutes Sabaneta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Carlos Vasconcelos who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Iuri Netto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 59th match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Villagrán to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Netto came free, but Lautaro Estebanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Chiquinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Ruy in the 67th minute of play. Lautaro Estebanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomé Quirino in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Estebanez saved Sabaneta FC from getting behind. After 78 minutes Sabaneta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Carlos Vasconcelos who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Iuri Netto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lautaro Estebanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Quirino in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 got a corner. Sabaneta FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Carlos Vasconcelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that João Carlos Vasconcelos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Estebanez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Tomé Quirino in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sabaneta FC's goalie prevented a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Gerardo Bocos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabaneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Bocos to maneuver through the defense. When Maicon Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maicon Magalhães couldn't finish the play. Salomon Busta kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sabaneta FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
