The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Carvallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, Nova Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Mišković to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Dino. José Carvallo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Conrado Mirande sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Bieito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Flores in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Saturnino Endura hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's Juan Manuel Vargas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19th minute, Victorio Dino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Adrio in the 28th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper José Carvallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Donato Adrio rounded Nova Soccer's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goalkeeper José Carvallo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Dino. Antony Carmine made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nova Soccer's Estefan Gavilanes. In the 45th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Havier to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edinson Flores came free, but Silverio Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Juan Manuel Vargas. Samuel Laurentzi struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. José Carvallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hermosillo FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steve Hyuga to strike the kick off in the second half. Nova Soccer's José Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Laurentzi in the 52nd minute of play. Edinson Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Máximo Decimo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Carvallo. Nova Soccer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 58th minute Samuel Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carvallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Laurentzi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Carvallo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Samuel Laurentzi put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Carvallo. Antony Carmine's late challenge caught a Nova Soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antony Carmine helped the player get up and apologised. Antony Carmine kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Silverio Bieito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Flores in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Decimo to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Bieito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Hyuga in the 77th minute. Nova Soccer's José Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Mirande in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Adrio in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carvallo saved Nova Soccer from getting behind. Ahmet Sedat Adar kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Silverio Bieito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Hyuga in the 97th minute. Hermosillo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nova Soccer for a fine match.
