When Saúl Soveral in the 4th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Décio Marinho kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 10 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Gusmão Leiria came free, but Décio Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Michel Drogba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Estrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Michel Drogba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Shevchenko in the 27th minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Maurício Estrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Estrada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Drogba went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, Michel Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurício Estrada. Ɍυƒυs™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After some careless play in the Ɍυƒυs™ defense, Michel Drogba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Estrada. The Ɍυƒυs™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Estrada should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Michel Drogba made the kick off in the second half. Décio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Parente in the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Duarte to maneuver through the defense. When Saúl Soveral fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ɍυƒυs™'s protests and gave Saúl Soveral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Saúl Soveral got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Dito Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ɍυƒυs™'s Maurício Estrada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Dito Donato took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Maurício Estrada to make any attempt to save it. In the 81st minute, Gusmão Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dito Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Michel Shevchenko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurício Estrada. The goal made the score 2-6. Michel Rüdiger kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ADM Taquaras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
