The Inmortales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Tomás Garcia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Nova Soccer's José Carvallo. José Carvallo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás Garcias short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got José Carvallo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th match minute, Nova Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Horna to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Steve Hyuga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toby Herget. Inmortales FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve Hyuga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Mike Clinton got a free kick in the 21st minute. Toby Herget didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Sedat Adar went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Mitch Rushing struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. José Carvallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inmortales FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edinson Flores during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Carvallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Rushing, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Hyuga came free, but Toby Herget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toby Herget made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Hyuga in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nova Soccer defense, Tomás Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carvallo. The Nova Soccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carvallo should have stopped the shot. Tomás Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. José Carvallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Tomás Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-2.

The wind increased when Steve Hyuga made the kick off in the second half. Edinson Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 52 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Dorigatti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Hyuga in the 58th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Toby Herget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edinson Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toby Herget stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edinson Flores's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Mitch Rushing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Carvallo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. The Inmortales FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Inmortales FC's Tomás Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Mike Clinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute Mike Clinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carvallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Tomás Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carvallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Alkinoos Pournaris got a free kick in the 85th minute. Arrigo Dorigatti kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Inmortales FC's Larry Colby couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nova Soccer. Tomás Garcia scored 8-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Carvallo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
