Ɍυƒυs™'s Francisco Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Palmeira in the 10th minute of play. Adilson Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Thiago Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville City - FSCMZ and the Ɍυƒυs™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes, Ɍυƒυs™'s Higino Viveiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquim Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ɍυƒυs™ reached it. Elivélton Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ribas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Ciro Queiroz got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Castro in the 22nd minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Joaquim Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Ribas made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ciro Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ɍυƒυs™'s Francisco Ribas got control of the ball when Adilson Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neymar Joinvilense was the one to do the kick off. Mats Hummels hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee gave Joinville City - FSCMZ a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aníbal Paulista, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ɍυƒυs™'s Francisco Ribas. 1-2. The Joinville City - FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ɍυƒυs™'s performance. The match ended with a win for Ɍυƒυs™.
