Donato Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Santos Veto got a free kick in the 12th minute. Kliment Frontov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Silverio Bieito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Santos Veto hit a great ball. With his leg Silverio Bieito managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Edelényi Bányász's Kliment Frontov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pál Dankó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lukács Sóti hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes, Hermosillo FC's Amadeo Primeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pál Dankó came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hermosillo FC reached it. Gordon Blue hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Donato Adrio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edelényi Bányász's Pál Dankó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Lukács Sóti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 37 minutes, Victorio Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermosillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Dino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Silverio Bieito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukács Sóti. Lukács Sóti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Silverio Bieito made a huge save. Gordon Blue kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Edelényi Bányász's zone, Donato Adrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pál Dankó came out of the goal and Donato Adrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kliment Frontov to strike the kick off in the second half. Conrado Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Dankó having to interfere. The supporters of Edelényi Bányász booed when Hermosillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Primeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukács Sóti took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Bieito. Silverio Bieito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukács Sóti in the 65th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Silverio Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Bieito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kliment Frontov's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Alonzo Paskal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edelényi Bányász's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermosillo FC the free kick. Samuel Laurentzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pál Dankó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Laurentzi ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Samuel Laurentzi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Edelényi Bányász's Pál Dankó. Pál Dankó was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Isaias Havier came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Hermosillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Havier couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Laurentzi got free with Pál Dankó in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Dankó having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukács Sóti in the 87th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Silverio Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Bieito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Blue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kliment Frontov came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Edelényi Bányász fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kliment Frontov couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Dino to maneuver through the defense. Lukács Sóti hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Antony Carmine hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hermosillo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Edelényi Bányász.
