After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Pedro Paulo Cruz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho got control of the ball when Francisco Villagrán tried to sneak it across the goal line. Décio Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Villagrán, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save ADM Taquaras from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Estebanez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Shevchenko in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Estebanez saved Sabaneta FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Villagrán kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Décio Marinho. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Décio Marinho came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabaneta FC's Clemente Ruy. But to his dismay, Clemente Ruy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Ruy got free with Décio Marinho in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute Michel Drogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Estebanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Estebanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Drogba in the 29th minute of play. Lautaro Estebanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Drogba in the 32nd minute of the match. Raul Clavell took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Décio Marinho. Décio Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 39 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Ibrahimovic came free, but Lautaro Estebanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ADM Taquaras's Dito Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Décio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Villagrán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Michel Ibrahimovic made the kick off in the second half. Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Michel Drogba 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. Lautaro Estebanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Ibrahimovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Estebanez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michel Ibrahimovic showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 76 minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Sabaneta FC's Francisco Villagrán nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Décio Marinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Michel Drogba hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Raul Clavell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Décio Marinho having to make a save. Diego Angulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Décio Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Villagrán in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sabaneta FC had played much better football throughout.
