The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Felix Clis managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Scorpions -MM-'s Costel Ţintă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 4th minute, Traian Uzuneanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Clis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Costel Ţintă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Felix Clis made a huge save. La Maquina 9-12-18's Felix Clis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Vergulescu in the 13th minute of play. Augustin Vergulescu spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of La Maquina 9-12-18's goal. Felix Clis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Vergulescu in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Felix Clis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costel Ţintă. Augustin Vergulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Felix Clis made a huge save. With a little luck, La Maquina 9-12-18's Felix Clis got control of the ball when Octav Vătăşel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Cipău. La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Traian Uzuneanu 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. In the 33rd minute Arturo Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Maquina 9-12-18's Felix Clis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Ţintă in the 36th minute of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Costel Ţintă sped through La Maquina 9-12-18's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Clis. 39 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Ţintă came free, but Felix Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Juan Telo came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Ţintă in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Clis saved La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting behind. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Scorpions -MM-'s Octav Vătăşel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Felix Clis. Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Alex Vrânceanu replaced Octav Vătăşel. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Felix Clis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Ţintă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Telo in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Arturo Umbruso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walter Zenga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Ţintă in the 68th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Felix Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Ţintă came free, but Felix Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Costel Ţintă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Goyo in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scorpions -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejo Bazkoare was slow to take the kick. During this time La Maquina 9-12-18's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Jose Cordarrol drilling the ball in to score 4-2 behind Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper. In the 83rd match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Dobos to maneuver through the defense. If Arturo Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, Alex Vrânceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scorpions -MM- and the La Maquina 9-12-18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Vrânceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Felix Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Vrânceanu in the 93rd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Vrânceanu came free, but Felix Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Vrânceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Tony Dobos got a free kick in the 95th minute. La Maquina 9-12-18's Alejo Bazkoare shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Walter Zenga but with some difficulty. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Scorpions -MM- from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Cornel Giuverdea hit a great ball. When Alejo Bazkoare came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the La Maquina 9-12-18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Bazkoare couldn't finish the play. La Maquina 9-12-18's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
