The coaching staff of Sacronas Futbol Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ramiro Perez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Sacronas Futbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Scorpions -MM-:s goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Scorpions -MM-'s Alex Vrânceanu was substituted for Octav Vătăşel. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Pereyra to make the kick off. Jorge Iribarren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Vrânceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play, Scorpions -MM-'s Costel Ţintă made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
