An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Uzuneanu in the 18th minute of play forced Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Silas Soeiro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga. Walter Zenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pereiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scorpions -MM- the free kick. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pereiras FC! The goalkeeper, Vânderson Botelho, was totally fooled by Scorpions -MM-'s Octav Vătăşel, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Traian Uzuneanu was the one to do the kick off. Pereiras FC's Vânderson Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Uzuneanu in the 52nd minute of play.
