Pereiras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Pereyra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute Luís Guilherme Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Pena came free, but Vânderson Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Guilherme Trancoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Iribarren. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Leon Paublo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vânderson Botelho having to make a save. Hugo Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Botelho having to interfere. The supporters of Sacronas Futbol Club booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Sacronas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Higuaín. In the 46th minute of the match Enio Palmeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Iribarren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Iribarren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhuo Cheng Xiang in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Pereyra to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Cheng Xiang in the 51st minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pereiras FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enio Palmeira in the 54th minute. Pereiras FC's Enio Palmeira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorge Iribarren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ramiro Perez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Leon Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Botelho having to interfere. When Nilson Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pereiras FC's protests and gave Nilson Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Roque Alfaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Sacronas Futbol Club defense, Fabrício Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Iribarren. The Sacronas Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Iribarren should have stopped the shot. Vânderson Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Pereyra in the 77th minute of play. Vânderson Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Ortiz in the 79th minute of the match. Jorge Iribarren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Guilherme Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Iribarren having to interfere. When Roque Alfaro fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacronas Futbol Club's protests and gave Roque Alfaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Sacronas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Roque Alfaro. Pereiras FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sacronas Futbol Club for a fine match.
