Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roswin Westermayer kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Dawid Dresik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolf Poll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Pereira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The Irons Chorzów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Klement Walaszkiewicz in the 11th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Rolf Matzken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Matzken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Ludomil Niedbalski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor Jäger. The Irons Chorzów's Ludomil Niedbalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save The Irons Chorzów from getting a goal against them. Wolf Poll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Dresik in the 24th minute of play. Wolf Poll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Dresik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Detmar Stuchtey kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Klement Walaszkiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Irons Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiger the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Popowicz in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wolf Poll saved Tiger from getting behind. Dawid Dresik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolf Poll having to interfere. Tiger's Olgierd Lato was substituted for Antonius Zagermann. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gwidon Popowicz made the kick off in the second half. Wolf Poll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyprian Logewnik in the 53rd minute. The Irons Chorzów were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Tiger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Klement Walaszkiewicz took the corner. When Klement Walaszkiewicz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. In the 56th match minute, The Irons Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Walaszkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Popowicz. Gwidon Popowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Tiger's Lisandro Aresti managed to work through The Irons Chorzów's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lisandro Aresti dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of The Irons Chorzów booed when Tiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Detmar Stuchtey didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to The Irons Chorzów getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Łukasz Surma hit a great ball. Rolf Matzken kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some careless play in the The Irons Chorzów defense, Lisandro Aresti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludomil Niedbalski. The The Irons Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludomil Niedbalski should have stopped the shot. After 78 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Łukasz Surma. After a defensive mix-up in Tiger's zone, Dawid Dresik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wolf Poll came out of the goal and Dawid Dresik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Irons Chorzów's Ludomil Niedbalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elis Färber in the 81st minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Tiger's Edmund Schoettle made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludomil Niedbalski was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the The Irons Chorzów players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tiger.
