Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Popowicz in the 4th minute of play. Ludomil Niedbalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil Hellevik, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 6th minute, Kjetil Hellevik made a precise shot to the right of Ludomil Niedbalski. The Irons Chorzów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Popowicz in the 9th minute of play forced Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dawid Dresik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes of play, The Irons Chorzów's Dawid Dresik made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Berglund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cyprian Logewnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Berglund having to interfere. The Irons Chorzów were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Gædd FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Klement Walaszkiewicz took the corner. The corner ended in Klement Walaszkiewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund did a great save. In the 25th match minute, Gædd FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjetil Hellevik to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Kacper Bilicki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Berglund skillfully saved the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's Kjetil Hellevik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludomil Niedbalski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gædd FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Dawid Dresik scored to the left of an out of position Andreas Berglund, making the score, 2-1. Andreas Berglund made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Dawid Dresik sent off a good shot on target. Klement Walaszkiewicz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, The Irons Chorzów's Bartlomiej Paciuszko got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ludomil Niedbalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Bredesen in the 39th minute of the match. Cyprian Logewnik hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, The Irons Chorzów's Gwidon Popowicz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Berglund was left in no man's land by his defense there!
In the 58th match minute, The Irons Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Sedzikowski to maneuver through the defense. Gædd FK's Edvin Bredesen managed to work through The Irons Chorzów's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edvin Bredesen dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 65th minute Gwidon Popowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute The Irons Chorzów were awarded a corner. Klement Walaszkiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gædd FK's goalie and right to Dawid Dresik. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gædd FK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in The Irons Chorzów's zone, Edvin Bredesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomil Niedbalski came out of the goal and Edvin Bredesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes, Gwidon Popowicz made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Łukasz Surma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin Bredesen had several of the The Irons Chorzów's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-2 score and a disappointed Ludomil Niedbalski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edvin Bredesen took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludomil Niedbalski. Ludomil Niedbalski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Geir-Inge Unhjem's late challenge caught a The Irons Chorzów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geir-Inge Unhjem helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Geir-Inge Unhjem. If Łukasz Surma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Gwidon Popowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Niedbalski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geir-Inge Unhjem in the 92nd minute. Andreas Berglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Popowicz's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Dawid Dresik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Irons Chorzów fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gædd FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
