Juan Pablo Gallinas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Wolf Poll made a huge save. 4 minutes into the game, Juan Pablo Gallinas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wolf Poll. Juan Pablo Gallinas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 8th minute Elis Färber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Eladio came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiger's Elis Färber. But to his dismay, Elis Färber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 17th minute Ingo Häusle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Dé Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulko Schwaderer in the 24th minute of the match. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Leonides Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulko Schwaderer in the 34th minute of play. Leonides Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingo Häusle, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ingo Häusle hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Schoettle came free, but Leonides Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Wacker in the 41st minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Leonides Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Gaston Frichoso from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Wolf Poll's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fulko Schwaderer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tiger getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fulko Schwaderer hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingo Häusle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Leonides Eladio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiger's goalkeeper Wolf Poll, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Juan Pablo Gallinas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wolf Poll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Tiger made a substitution. Manuel Gebauer replaced Fulko Schwaderer. After 71 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Lato. In the 76th minute of the game Saul Maureo made a throw-in which Gaston Frichoso played forward. Lisandro Aresti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Eladio having to make a save. Leonides Eladio was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Lisandro Aresti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lisandro Aresti really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tiger players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
