Santo Colon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Prato went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Santo Colon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Zoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Domenico Sabatino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Urbez in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ got a corner. Sorci Viola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Urbez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️'s Apolo Gelmiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Domenico Sabatino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Domenico Sabatino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Tadzio in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Silvestre Tadzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Guido Mingo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️'s protests and gave Guido Mingo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️'s Guido Mingo got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes, Sorci Viola's Beppe Zoff shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santo Colon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sorci Viola reached it. ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️'s Hugo Urbez got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Silvestre Tadzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domenico Sabatino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Tadzio in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beppe Zoff to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the game Ciro Collovati made a throw-in which Ciccio Fasciani played forward. Domenico Sabatino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Tadzio's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Sorci Viola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Urbez took the corner. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Silvestre Tadzio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Tadzio couldn't finish the play. Ciccio Fasciani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Santo Colon made a huge save. Domenico Sabatino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Urbez in the 80th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Hugo Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Chucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Urbez charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Urbez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Urbez. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
