Ciccio Fasciani charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciccio Fasciani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of INFIERNO KSK booed when Sorci Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Fasciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. INFIERNO KSK's Justo Chepe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Domenico Sabatino but with some difficulty. When Gaspar Viator came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the INFIERNO KSK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Viator couldn't finish the play. Santiago Abela Medici hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Domenico Sabatino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruperto Meder in the 11th minute. Achille Pasquino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Sorci Viola's Beppe Zoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Ruisko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 22 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Montini. A hard shot 30 in the game by Santiago Abela Medici from a close distance when the talented Domenico Sabatino managed to make a qualified save. Sorci Viola's players were relieved. 31 minutes into the match, INFIERNO KSK's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Chiola came free, but Federico Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domenico Sabatino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Viator in the 32nd minute of the match. In the last second Domenico Sabatino throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gaspar Viator in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 35th minute of the match INFIERNO KSK got a corner. Sorci Viola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justo Chepe ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gaspar Viator managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 39th match minute, INFIERNO KSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Viator to maneuver through the defense. INFIERNO KSK's Federico Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Chiola in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Anfilogino Chiola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorci Viola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Chiola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Anfilogino Chiola took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Federico Ruisko to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Sorci Viola's Ettore Teti got a free kick in the 56th minute. Federico Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Chiola in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Beppe Zoff made a precise shot to the right of Federico Ruisko. INFIERNO KSK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After a rather tough play, INFIERNO KSK's Eloy Maiorga got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Meder in the 74th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Domenico Sabatino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Ruperto Meder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domenico Sabatino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Federico Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Zoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Viator in the 81st minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Domenico Sabatino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
