Raul Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Quentin in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Azeari in the 10th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Raul Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Felipe Quentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Santxol was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Timoteo Colas in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Menchu FC's corner Timoteo Colas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raul Santxol quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22nd minute Rogelio Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Ostots saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Weterio in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Azeari came free, but Raul Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Weterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jacinto Ostots made a huge save. In the 31st match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Reno to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Colas struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Raul Santxol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menchu FC. AZURDUY F.C.'s Raul Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Azeari in the 33rd minute of play. Raul Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Azeari, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Cirilo Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Fidensio during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute of the match, Urbano Azeari got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raul Santxol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 58 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Chuan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Azeari got free with Raul Santxol in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Ostots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Gombal in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dalmacio Abeitia hit a great ball. Amador Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Ostots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbano Azeari's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raul Santxol firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leopoldo Artizar struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Raul Santxol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menchu FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Azeari got free with Raul Santxol in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
