The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugon Lenertej made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Prado in the 3rd minute. Cássio Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Panasewicz came free, but Dráuzio Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ganga Banga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dráuzio Arantes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganga Banga in the 10th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Dráuzio Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Frederico Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Sagarana Clube got a corner. SS SuperSonics's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cleiton Freitas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sagarana Clube's corner Frederico Costa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugon Lenertej quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ganga Banga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ganga Banga took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Arantes. Dráuzio Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 35thth minute of the game Frederico Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SS SuperSonics's Hugon Lenertej was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugon Lenertej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Costa in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Cássio Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Manoel de Sousa. Frederico Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugon Lenertej read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. When Ganga Banga came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the SS SuperSonics fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ganga Banga couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's Ganga Banga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dráuzio Arantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Korneliusz Panasewicz was the one to do the kick off. Hugon Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Arósio in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Misiorowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugon Lenertej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Hugon Lenertej stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Costa's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. If Fiori Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Costa in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugon Lenertej prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sagarana Clube were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after SS SuperSonics's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cleiton Freitas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cleiton Freitas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugon Lenertej quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dráuzio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ganga Banga in the 69th minute of play. Ganga Banga came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dráuzio Arantes could save by the left post. A collision led to SS SuperSonics getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Zachariasz Kaczucha hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes SS SuperSonics got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Kaczucha. Frederico Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugon Lenertej having to make a save. Gucci Gangstad took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Arantes. Dráuzio Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The SS SuperSonics supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SS SuperSonics would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
