After a defensive mix-up in Henley on Thames United's zone, Alexandrino Caldas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ross Armitage came out of the goal and Alexandrino Caldas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Boland charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Boland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Boland to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Gualter Carmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rio Fuller. The supporters of Henley on Thames United booed when KINDERUZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Gualter Carmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jeremy Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henley on Thames United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremy Gray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in KINDERUZ's zone, Tony Plumber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter Carmo came out of the goal and Tony Plumber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Forbes to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Pacheco was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. KINDERUZ's Gualter Carmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Plumber in the 52nd minute of play. Jordão Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ross Armitage made a huge save. Henley on Thames United made a substitution. Seb Rain replaced Dion Croft. Tony Plumber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Carmo having to interfere. Tony Plumber succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Rio Fuller took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualter Carmo. Gualter Carmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Henley on Thames United made a substitution. Gwyn Harper replaced Tony Plumber. In the 83rd minute, Alexandrino Caldas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ross Armitage was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jeremy Gray hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, one of Henley on Thames United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Henley on Thames United. Henley on Thames United:s Ross Armitage showed great skill when he stopped Fernando Couto:s penalty. 88 minutes into the game, KINDERUZ's Fernando Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ross Armitage made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. In the 93rd minute Ted Bettney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Carmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualter Carmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Bettney, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Henley on Thames United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
