Rick Norman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Angelucci having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Conti in the 9th minute of play forced Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Harry Housham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Rick Norman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilberto Angelucci. Rick Norman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gilberto Angelucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rick Norman in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Grandis in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Housham saved Staffordshire Terrier FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Carmine Di Mascio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Housham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Staffordshire Terrier FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Al Stockley hit a great ball. Rick Norman might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Angelucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rick Norman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Magliocco in the 33rd minute of play forced Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Harry Housham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, one of Bar Marconi United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 42nd match minute, Staffordshire Terrier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Warnett to maneuver through the defense. Bar Marconi United's Arrigo Latini was substituted for Arturo Magliocco. Pedro Warnett kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Harry Housham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Grandis, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Grandis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Arrigo Latini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Housham. Staffordshire Terrier FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arrigo Latini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Arrigo Latini came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Bar Marconi United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arrigo Latini couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Emiliano Grandis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Housham. Staffordshire Terrier FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Grandis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Winnie Beck fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staffordshire Terrier FC's protests and gave Winnie Beck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Winnie Beck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Conti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Harry Housham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmine Di Mascio. Harry Housham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Grandis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Winnie Beck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rick Norman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Angelucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
