André Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Arixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Emiliano Arixo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jenipapo SC's André Siqueira. André Siqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Jenipapo SC's zone, Emiliano Arixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Siqueira came out of the goal and Emiliano Arixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, C.A Huracan's Emiliano Arixo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 46th minute Simão Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damián Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half C.A Huracan were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Travassos to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabián Di Maria hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Damián Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Travassos in the 58th minute of play. The corner ended in Bruno Ricci almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jenipapo SC's André Siqueira did a great save. After 64 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Queirós. Jenipapo SC's André Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabián Di Maria in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Brodel to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Oscar do Vale in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Huracan's Gaston Ávila. A collision led to C.A Huracan getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bruno Ricci hit a great ball. Luan Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Emiliano Arixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Arixo might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Siqueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Arixo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Emiliano Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Huracan's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Arixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 85 minutes, Vitinho Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jenipapo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Arixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Siqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Arixo came free, but André Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Mirande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but André Siqueira made a huge save. Damián Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A Huracan's Damián Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Vale in the 95th minute of play.
