Inter de Chillán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grégoire Gumaelius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 14 minutes Inter de Chillán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Witold Ptaszek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led DOJLIDY's Witold Ptaszek to fire away a dangerous shot which José Ignacio Rocha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. José Ignacio Rocha came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by DOJLIDY's Grégoire Gumaelius. But to his dismay, Grégoire Gumaelius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Paulo Brotfeld hit a great ball. José Ignacio Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grégoire Gumaelius, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Badiola got free with Radomir Basinski in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Inter de Chillán's Lothar Matthæus got a free kick in the 27th minute. José Ignacio Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grégoire Gumaelius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes in the game, Grégoire Gumaelius dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Inter de Chillán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Mas to maneuver through the defense. DOJLIDY's Witold Ptaszek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Inter de Chillán. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Piechna in the 38th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper José Ignacio Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witold Ptaszek's late challenge caught a Inter de Chillán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witold Ptaszek helped the player get up and apologised. Marcel Wassermayer came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Radomir Basinski could save by the left post. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Wassermayer in the 41st minute. Marcel Wassermayer made a great header on Inter de Chillán's corner, it was just that DOJLIDY's Radomir Basinski managed to reach the ball for a save. Grzegorz Andrysiak hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when DOJLIDY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Trochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Inter de Chillán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lothar Matthæus to maneuver through the defense. José Ignacio Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grégoire Gumaelius, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grégoire Gumaelius made a kick off. Wiktor Piechna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but José Ignacio Rocha made a huge save. José Ignacio Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Piechna in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Krzysztof Trochowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DOJLIDY's Radomir Basinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Casas in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, DOJLIDY's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Badiola came free, but Radomir Basinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grégoire Gumaelius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. José Ignacio Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wojciech Kobeko got free with José Ignacio Rocha in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Ignacio Rocha came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by DOJLIDY's Grégoire Gumaelius. But to his dismay, Grégoire Gumaelius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Grégoire Gumaelius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Ignacio Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute DOJLIDY were awarded a corner. Witold Ptaszek went to the cornerflag to take it. DOJLIDY's Witold Ptaszek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José Ignacio Rocha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Radomir Basinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Valdivia in the 82nd minute of the match. When Paulo Brotfeld fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de Chillán's protests and gave Paulo Brotfeld a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Brotfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Quintén Jorquera hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Grégoire Gumaelius could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which José Ignacio Rocha however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Grégoire Gumaelius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Ignacio Rocha was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The Inter de Chillán supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DOJLIDY's performance. The match ended with a win for DOJLIDY.
