In the 10th match minute, Vila Zumbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tenho Sorter to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Ulysses Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila Zumbi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal de Gols F.C the free kick. In the 16th minute, Ulysses Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilherme Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Ronaldo Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Zumbi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogo Cosme hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Nils Rast took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fumo Pedrais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hílton Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Rast having to interfere. Vítor da Cunha hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Vaz in the 40th minute of play forced Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalkeeper Nils Rast to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Zé Roberto Félix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fumo Pedrais made a kick off. Fumo Pedrais charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fumo Pedrais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vila Zumbi's Fumo Pedrais got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 59th match minute, Vila Zumbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tenho Sorter to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes Arsenal de Gols F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elói de Almeida. Ulysses Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nils Rast tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fumo Pedrais in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Rast prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the game, Fumo Pedrais cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Nils Rast was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldo Meirelles hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Fumo Pedrais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Tony Brasil got a free kick in the 86th minute. Fumo Pedrais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Rast having to interfere. Vila Zumbi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
