Julius van Zijl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Piţurcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. FC TraLaLa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sever Piţurcă in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes FC Bal op het Dak's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sever Piţurcă who took care of the corner kick. In the 20th minute Kristof Numan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Răduț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Răduț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans van der Leegte in the 22nd minute of play. Aristide Răduț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Jan Lammers in the 27th minute of the match. FC Bal op het Dak's Julius van Zijl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Romeo in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Paul Romeo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julius van Zijl. That made the score 1-2 in the 48 minute of play.

The wind increased when Paul Romeo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, FC TraLaLa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Pușcariu to maneuver through the defense. Aristide Răduț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Cees Dowie in the 55th minute of play. Martien Degenkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Aristide Răduț made a huge save. With a little luck, FC TraLaLa's Aristide Răduț got control of the ball when Martien Degenkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Bogdan Gogea got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Martien Degenkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters rose to their feet, but Martien Degenkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. FC Bal op het Dak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC TraLaLa the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Martien Degenkamp could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Aristide Răduț however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of FC TraLaLa booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Jan Schutrups didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans van der Leegte in the 84th minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Aristide Răduț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans van der Leegte scored 1-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristide Răduț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Pușcariu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Jan Schutrups to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, FC TraLaLa's Sever Piţurcă tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paul Romeo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. FC Bal op het Dak's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
