Thanks to some nice moves Narciso Pinheiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Izydor Lerych however easily saved by the left post. Mateus de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Luty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Izydor Lerych got control of the ball when Américo Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Thunderstorm Riders getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Borys Dulka hit a great ball. Izydor Lerych acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabian Balbuena. 18 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's Tadeusz Luty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateus de Senna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Fernandes got free with Izydor Lerych in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Juventus EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Wlodzimierz Pilarczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Mateus de Senna made a huge save. Thunderstorm Riders's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
