Arthur Bufi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Chico de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chico de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nadie nos Para booed when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Nadie nos Para manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cruzeiro Esporte Clube to win.
