Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Cwojdak in the 21st minute of play. Gwidon Cwojdak scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateus de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwidon Cwojdak couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Chico de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus de Senna. Juventus EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chico de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Gwidon Cwojdak did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Mateus de Senna 40 minutes into the match. Mateus de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico de Brito was the one to do the kick off. After 50 minutes, Wilson Piazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube and the Juventus EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gwidon Cwojdak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwidon Cwojdak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualter Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mateus de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Gwidon Cwojdak sped through Juventus EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mateus de Senna. After 75 played minutes, Juventus EC's Fabian Balbuena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arthur Bufi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventus EC reached it. After 79 minutes, Eusébio Magalhães made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when Juventus EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Balbuena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Eusébio Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Mateus de Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
