In the 14th minute, Attard Gunners's Andrea Xuereb ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Witalis Tokarczyk. Witalis Tokarczyk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Socjopaci's goalkeeper Witalis Tokarczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea Xuereb. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Zrinzo in the 27th minute of play forced Socjopaci's goalkeeper Witalis Tokarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Attard Gunners had won after a very even match.
