After 11 played minutes, Romando Futebol Clube's Virgílio Palmeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juan Alberto Zorrilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Romando Futebol Clube reached it. Juan Alberto Zorrilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Barbosa in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinnie Jones didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Sebastião Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Alberto Zorrilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tancredo Basaez in the 25th minute of play forced Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Igor Romao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Romando Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Luz. 38 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Igor Romao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abundio Alliende. 40 minutes into the match, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Fernandez came free, but Juan Alberto Zorrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xacobo Schneider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Igor Romao made a huge save. Alexandre Luz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Igor Romao came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Tancredo Basaez. But to his dismay, Tancredo Basaez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

After 50 played minutes SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT got a freekick which was hit by Abundio Alliende. 53 minutes into the game, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Tancredo Basaez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Romao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinnie Jones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Romao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xacobo Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Xacobo Schneider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Romao having to make a save. After 71 played minutes SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT got a freekick which was hit by Abundio Alliende. Igor Romao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abundio Alliende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Dante came free, but Juan Alberto Zorrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romando Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgílio Palmeira took the corner. After taking down the ball on Romando Futebol Clube's corner Virgílio Palmeira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Alberto Zorrilla quite easily take care of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Abundio Alliende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Romao. Romando Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abundio Alliende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Romando Futebol Clube's Igor Romao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacobo Schneider in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romando Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
