The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bram Bosman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Igor Romao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Dante in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Romando Futebol Clube's Régis Dante made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Aznaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kalessin's Genaro Valery got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Régis Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Aznaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Sebastião Barbosa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kalessin's Raimundo Aznaro. Raimundo Aznaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when Kalessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Hermo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
