With a little luck, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Julio-César Goacher got control of the ball when Sebastião Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Igor Romao had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Hudson Peixoto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rafa Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Igor Romao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Luz made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Romando Futebol Clube's Alexandre Luz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio-César Goacher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Igor Romao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Coutinho came free, but Igor Romao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
