Haralampi Kúrkelanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Maltez, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Serafino Anaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haralampi Kúrkelanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Baltasar Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Bolyukov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute VN SOKOLI-VARNA were awarded a corner. Igor Bolyukov went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Vihren Bozhanov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Paulino Maltez took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haralampi Kúrkelanov. Haralampi Kúrkelanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Neno Vladimirov in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Saul Iraido. Paulino Maltez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Asparuh Nechev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Urritz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Bolyukov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baltasar Urritz. That made the score 2-2 in the 46 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Aguirre during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of VN SOKOLI-VARNA booed when ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rostislav Sitarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Saul Iraido tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ilko Zvúncharov charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilko Zvúncharov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ilko Zvúncharov kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With 93 minutes on the clock, Trifon Mladenov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in VN SOKOLI-VARNA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Paulino Maltez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Haralampi Kúrkelanov made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
