The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rivaldo Pele was the one to do the kick off. AQUILES's Javier Tanio was substituted for Rivaldo Pele. After 53 minutes Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ademar Campidelis managed, with a little bit of luck, save Lothar Matheus's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Ademar Campidelis came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by AQUILES's Lothar Matheus. But to his dismay, Lothar Matheus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mariano Guter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Campidelis was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Artemio Bazil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artemio Bazil really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when AQUILES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Urtsua didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Santos came free, but Mariano Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AQUILES were furious when Moises Urtsua was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 94 minutes into the game, one of AQUILES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mariano Guter had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Gugu Proença's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
