The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Dante got free with Christer Kullander in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvinho Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Team Rocco's Christer Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Andrade in the 10th minute of play. Capivariano F.C.'s Silvinho Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Kalfhage in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Team Rocco getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Robin Martinsson hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christer Kullander. Rodriguinho Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Kalfhage in the 33rd minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvinho Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nestor Dante could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Christer Kullander however easily saved by the left post. After 38 minutes Team Rocco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erivaldo Mineiro who took care of the corner kick. Felipe Prata was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Team Rocco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Andrade came free, but Christer Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Kullander came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivariano F.C.'s Nestor Dante. But to his dismay, Nestor Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart Abrahamsson was the one to do the kick off. Silvinho Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Tomasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nestor Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 77 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Leif Billberg. 84 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Andrade came free, but Christer Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
