After 20 played minutes 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Paes. In the 22nd minute Vágner Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mete Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Peder Ferro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Capixaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético Capixaba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! 58 minutes into the game, Erland Slyngstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Horácio Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gol in the 61st minute of play forced 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s goalkeeper Horácio Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
