In the 18th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Erikas Motiekaitis hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Patrick Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linas Mandraflis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Linas Mandraflis lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Patrick Teles. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Arūnas Zaleckis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Slyngstad in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mete Gol in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arūnas Zaleckis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Antanas Pelėda fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pegasas Siauliai's protests and gave Antanas Pelėda a yellow card for diving instead. Antanas Pelėda kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, Atlético Capixaba's Gerson Leal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arūnas Zaleckis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Capixaba reached it. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Erland Slyngstad sped through FC Pegasas Siauliai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arūnas Zaleckis. Arūnas Zaleckis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.
The wind increased when Mete Gol made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Arūnas Zaleckis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Gol. In the 53rd match minute, FC Pegasas Siauliai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antanas Pelėda to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Gerson Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arūnas Zaleckis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rūtenis Bračas took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Teles. Patrick Teles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Mantvydas Bekeris struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Patrick Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pegasas Siauliai. Linas Mandraflis scored 4-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Mantvydas Bekeris notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles. Patrick Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Linas Mandraflis hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Atlético Capixaba's Romeu Diniz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Romeu Diniz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético Capixaba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Romeu Diniz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético Capixaba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Capixaba players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Pegasas Siauliai.
