Spectators: 7766 (Terracing: 5826, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Renato Cesarini started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Cobresal booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Park Ferretti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Cesarini came free, but Armando Unax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Armando Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Cesarini in the 11th minute of play. Armando Unax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Cesarini, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 15 played minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Salvidor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Irrintzi in the 18th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Patricio Mayol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Bernat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Patricio Mayol made a huge save. Renato Cesarini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th match minute, Cobresal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lester Sanfuentes to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Patricio Mayol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cobresal's Patricio Mayol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Cobresal from getting a goal against them. Patricio Mayol was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Domingo Salvidor. After 37 minutes, Lester Sanfuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cobresal and the Los Hijos de Doña Beija players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Cobresal got a freekick which was hit by Lester Sanfuentes. Patricio Mayol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Bernat in the 38th minute of the match. Cobresal's Patricio Mayol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Bernat in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Bernat to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Unax made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Florín Sances sent off a good shot on target. Lester Sanfuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Nestor Bernat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Cobresal's Renato Cesarini in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Park Ferretti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cobresal's Renato Cesarini got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Mayol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zelipe Recabarren hit a great ball. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Agustin Irrintzi got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
