Justino Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Emerson Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Justino Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pitin Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Theobald Abeijon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo Nunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Oswaldo Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pitin Abadie in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pitin Abadie in the 42nd minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Oswaldo Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Discípulos de Ayn Rand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cidro Abajas to maneuver through the defense. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Hudson Melo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Justino Abaunza but with some difficulty. A collision led to Discípulos de Ayn Rand getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Foro Abajas hit a great ball. Evaristo Mello came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Justino Abaunza could save by the left post. After the first half Discípulos de Ayn Rand were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Mello to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Luiz Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cidro Abajas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Lain Abeita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oswaldo Nunes. That made the score 1-3 after 70 minutes of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Cidro Abajas put in a rough tackle. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Discípulos de Ayn Rand! When Nando de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nando de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Evaristo Mello hit a great ball. When Celestino Abeijon fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Discípulos de Ayn Rand's protests and gave Celestino Abeijon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Discípulos de Ayn Rand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Abaunza having to make a save. The Discípulos de Ayn Rand players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
