The Discípulos de Ayn Rand fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Theobald Abeijon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Westra Aros SK booed when Discípulos de Ayn Rand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Discípulos de Ayn Rand's zone, Don Nickler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Bollström was slow to take the kick. During this time Westra Aros SK's players had a chance to rest. 21 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Pitin Abadie came free, but Ivan Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Don Back hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Lindström came free, but Justino Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Rene Abechuco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Discípulos de Ayn Rand reached it. After 44 played minutes Westra Aros SK got a freekick which was hit by Leif Lindström. The Westra Aros SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Discípulos de Ayn Rand were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lain Abeita made a kick off. Theobald Abeijon hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Leif Lindström hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ivan Västlund made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Pitin Abadie sent off a good shot on target. When Don Nickler came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Westra Aros SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Don Nickler couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the game, Westra Aros SK's Don Nickler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
