The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Justino Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Melo in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maria Abad in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silas Nascimento saved México Eterno MZC from getting behind. México Eterno MZC's Rodrigo Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes Pipis Fino shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Justino Abaunza when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, México Eterno MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Berger to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Alessandro Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. México Eterno MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Discípulos de Ayn Rand the free kick. Alessandro Andrade hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A collision led to Discípulos de Ayn Rand getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Videl Abajas hit a great ball. Justino Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Balotelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugênio Viana hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, Discípulos de Ayn Rand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pitin Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Justino Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Melo in the 31st minute of play. Carlitos Tevez hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes, Nazario Abaunza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Discípulos de Ayn Rand and the México Eterno MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Mario Balotelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Rodrigo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. México Eterno MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Abaunza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pitin Abadie in the 44th minute of play forced México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Silas Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes México Eterno MZC got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Viana. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Melo made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Discípulos de Ayn Rand got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Abeijon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Balotelli in the 58th minute of play forced Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Justino Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Discípulos de Ayn Rand getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Maria Abad hit a great ball. A collision led to México Eterno MZC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Diguinho Berger hit a great ball. If Lain Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Mario Balotelli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Justino Abaunza. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 71st minute, Cidro Abajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Balotelli in the 81st minute of play forced Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Justino Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, México Eterno MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Pena to maneuver through the defense. Justino Abaunza came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by México Eterno MZC's Rodrigo Melo. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 87th minute, Diguinho Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maria Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Silas Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Yapar, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Discípulos de Ayn Rand supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching México Eterno MZC's performance. The match ended with a win for México Eterno MZC.
