Uno Bjurström charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uno Bjurström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Westra Aros SK got a freekick which was hit by Uno Bjurström. 16 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Nigol came free, but Ivan Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Don Back made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Don Nickler however managed to control. Alvin Söderkvist hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Uno Bjurström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. The supporters of Vila booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno Bjurström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Västlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Nigol went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ivan Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Nigol, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Bruno Nigol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivan Västlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Nigol went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Adolf Nuume came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Vila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolf Nuume couldn't finish the play. Ivan Västlund came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Vila's Bruno Nigol. But to his dismay, Bruno Nigol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ivan Västlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Nigol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vila's attentive Alex Kalde managed to snatch the ball when Alvin Söderkvist made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Nigol in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Västlund saved Westra Aros SK from getting behind. In the 53rd minute Bruno Nigol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Nigol might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Västlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Nigol ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Westra Aros SK's zone, Manole Iosifian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Västlund came out of the goal and Manole Iosifian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Vila's Bruno Nigol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Västlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Bruno Nigol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Ivan Västlund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Westra Aros SK from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Nigol came free, but Ivan Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Västlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruno Nigol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 80 minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Bruno Nigol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Västlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Bruno Nigol came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Nigol couldn't finish the play. Adolf Nuume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vila's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
