SAN MARTIN MZA were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Discípulos de Ayn Rand's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armando Silvino took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalie and right to Guillermo Barros Schelotto. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 58th match minute, C.A. Manos Šín showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maria Abad in the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA got a freekick which was hit by Toti Nevi. Manos Šín made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maria Abad in the 87th minute of play. If Leonardo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Silvino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justino Abaunza. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maria Abad in the 96th minute of play forced C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalkeeper Manos Šín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 played minutes C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Arias. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
