Leonardo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Manos Šín showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Melo in the 3rd minute of the match. Manos Šín made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Melo in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Melo in the 7th minute of play forced C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalkeeper Manos Šín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cesinha Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. México Eterno MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manos Šín breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Sebastian Walme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave México Eterno MZC the free kick. Cesinha Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Macerio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dida Paredes came out and tried to block the shot, but Cornelio Macerio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. In the 28th match minute, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Chan to maneuver through the defense. Carlitos Tevez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Dida Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Macerio in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Guillermo Barros Schelotto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Armando Silvino got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Melo in the 43rd minute of play forced C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalkeeper Manos Šín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA made a substitution. Sixto Cordarin replaced Sebastian Walme. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cornelio Macerio to strike the kick off in the second half. Manos Šín took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlitos Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Manos Šín proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA from getting a goal against them. A collision led to México Eterno MZC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Carlitos Tevez hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA got a freekick which was hit by Mario Chan. 69 minutes into the game, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Guillermo Barros Schelotto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dida Paredes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rodrigo Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Manos Šín was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Macerio in the 74th minute of play forced México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Dida Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA were furious when Sergio Stephen was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Manos Šín made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Melo in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute México Eterno MZC were awarded a corner. Rodrigo Melo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 86th match minute Rodrigo Melo ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Manos Šín. 3-2. 96 minutes into the match, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalkeeper Manos Šín had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Melo. In the 97th minute of the match México Eterno MZC got a corner. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodrigo Melo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led México Eterno MZC's Rodrigo Melo to fire away a dangerous shot which Manos Šín despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Manos Šín took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. México Eterno MZC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
