After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Luís Eduardo Amaral got a free kick in the 13th minute. Carlos Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Benet in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of LA MAQUINA F.C booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Fenomeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Benet in the 17th minute of the match. Carlos Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Gergori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Benet came free, but Carlos Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gao Chao Jing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Neiva in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute Diogo Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gao Chao Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Misericordia EC's Bob Dinamite nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gao Chao Jing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hector Lano's late challenge caught a Misericordia EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Lano helped the player get up and apologised. In the last second Carlos Dias throw himself and got hold of the ball when Justino Gergori in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 88 minutes, Ian Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Misericordia EC and the LA MAQUINA F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Brasil to maneuver through the defense.
