Cássio Cortez might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Mon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Cortez ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jeronimo Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Bulhosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. La Bolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Ado in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Club Atlético Escocia's Pascual Ado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind La Bolas. La Bolas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. La Bolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titan Nahas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Cássio Cortez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vitória StrikerS™ and the Club Atlético Escocia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Escocia's Titan Nahas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of La Bolas. That made the score 2-2 after 31 minutes of play. In the 35th match minute, Vitória StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Aires to maneuver through the defense. La Bolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Mikolas in the 36th minute. Jeronimo Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Bulhosa in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Bulhosa in the 47th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Jeronimo Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Caponi to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. Branco Preto, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitória StrikerS™'s Flávio Perdigão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeronimo Mon. That made the score 2-3 after 85 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Vitória StrikerS™ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Escocia.
