Piquirenda FC's Bartolo Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viviano Soto in the 11th minute of play. Bartolo Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresitobalo De Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Viviano Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordero Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veto Jareño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Rufio in the 33rd minute of play. If Pablo Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Benat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Veto Jareño came out and tried to block the shot, but Saverio Benat slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Rufio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Viviano Soto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hispania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
