Herauso Sarro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Aldo Candal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Thommy Pelgrims left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugge United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binjamin Denturck to maneuver through the defense. Brugge United's Aldo Candal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Brugge United from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goalkeeper Aldo Candal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herauso Sarro. After 22 minutes, Jimeno Naranjo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mandrake fc and the Brugge United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thommy Pelgrims, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mandrake fc's Tulio Saura slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aldo Candal. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Millán Revuelta during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Mandrake fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Millán Revuelta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elar Quero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Montero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mickael Theunis got free with Elar Quero in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mandrake fc's Apolo Montero got a free kick in the 81st minute. Elar Quero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thommy Pelgrims in the 82nd minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Mickael Theunis. In the 87th minute of the match Millán Revuelta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Candal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mickael Theunis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Brugge United's goalkeeper Aldo Candal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Constant Vanden Broucke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elar Quero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Elar Quero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thommy Pelgrims showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brugge United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
