An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Selim Tunçdağ in the 22nd minute of play forced La Acade's goalkeeper Jonas Rozarius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akşemseddin Arslangiray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Quexal in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Quexal got free with Akşemseddin Arslangiray in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vural Sağlamer to make the kick off. Afşar Ruzi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match Jeronimo Herauso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akşemseddin Arslangiray skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute Vural Sağlamer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Akşemseddin Arslangiray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the La Acade defense, Gérard Piqué kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Rozarius. The La Acade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Rozarius should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Gérard Piqué took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jonas Rozarius to make any attempt to save it. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
