Asiz Phua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Arlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jonas Rozarius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darren Chan's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Jonas Rozarius had great luck who in the 11thth minute grab hold of the ball when Darren Chan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 14th minute Darren Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Acade's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Darren Chan scored to the left of an out of position Jonas Rozarius, making the score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ladislao Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Acade's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Ongile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asiz Phua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Oakham booed when La Acade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Arlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shah Hian had several of the La Acade's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Jonas Rozarius as he didn't even see the shot coming. 29 minutes into the game, Oakham's Darren Chan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Rozarius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 31 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Chan came free, but Jonas Rozarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Dario Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, La Acade's Jonas Rozarius got control of the ball when Khairul Sarangapani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Aquilino Igon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Acade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakham the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Acade's Aquilino Igon got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darren Chan to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Darren Chan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Rozarius was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 55 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Chan came free, but Jonas Rozarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Rozarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairul Sarangapani in the 58th minute of play forced La Acade's goalkeeper Jonas Rozarius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ladislao Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asiz Phua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Acade. The audience was convinced that Darren Chan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Rozarius was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Jonas Rozarius came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakham's Darren Chan. But to his dismay, Darren Chan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. La Acade's Jonas Rozarius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Chan in the 89th minute of play. Khairul Sarangapani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Rozarius having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Lamar Wenyong. La Acade's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
