An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Vissenakens in the 4th minute of play forced Flamenco United's goalkeeper Romain Labrouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seppe Sterkx kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Bacardi FC were awarded a corner. Fernandez Cuero went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Bacardi FC's corner Fernandez Cuero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romain Labrouche quite easily take care of the ball. Edward Wuyts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Van Dock having to interfere. Ricky Van Dock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marten De Hond, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Robbie Van Eijken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricky Van Dock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Paul-Louis Van Mechelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamza Yavaş kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Flamenco United's Ricky Van Dock threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vicente Dechamps, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 39th match minute, Flamenco United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seppe Sterkx to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when Bacardi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guust Gijselinkx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariando Vacas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Romain Labrouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi FC. The Flamenco United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bacardi FC were winning 0-2.

Flamenco United made a substitution. Youri Goolen replaced Edward Wuyts. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marten De Hond to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's Paul-Louis Van Mechelen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romain Labrouche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bacardi FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Flamenco United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernandez Cuero took the corner. Maurice Vissenakens did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Romain Labrouche 63 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes, Youri Goolen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamenco United and the Bacardi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Flamenco United's Youri Goolen got a free kick in the 68th minute. Maurice Vissenakens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernandez Cuero in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romain Labrouche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Flamenco United's Romain Labrouche got control of the ball when Maurice Vissenakens tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Seppe Sterkx fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamenco United's protests and gave Seppe Sterkx a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flamenco United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Seppe Sterkx hit a great ball. The Bacardi FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Bacardi FC's Fernandez Cuero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Flamenco United's zone, Fernandez Cuero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romain Labrouche came out of the goal and Fernandez Cuero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cornelis Rondas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bacardi FC's Xander Steurms was substituted for Fernandez Cuero. Xander Steurms succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Maurice Vissenakens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romain Labrouche having to interfere. When the match was over Bacardi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Flamenco United throughout the match.
